one-cmr-multiple-times-printinWith the arrival of version 15.6v4, PrintCMR can print one document multiple times, including an ascending order number.
This allows for a repetitive bill of lading in stacks of e.g. 80 prints and process in one go.

The multiple number system is supported in the CMR, AVC, Guidance letter and Dangerous Goods.

The other documents that use a sequence number do it in the simple way, because multiple numbering adds nothing there.

To provide a document with multiple serial numbers, click on the serial number.

Then a popup window is created, where the number of sequence numbers can be entered.
These numbers are generated via the button "Processing", whereby the total counter is also incremented.
PrintCMR guarantees a one-time publication of a serial number.

Within the CMR and the AVC this is the most desirable situation, because unique numbers contribute to the recognisability of the document.

The Guidance letter already has a unique number, where a unique number can be added. This makes it much easier to check quickly at the project level of all collected documents.

As soon as the "Print" button is pressed, the dialogue window is created, where the number of Forms can be entered.
This concerns the number of prints per unique sequence number.

The processing of 21 serial numbers with the number of Forms on 3 means that a total of 63 pages will be printed.
Of course, the order is according to the forms, as they are in the printer.

Finally, we point out that it can be numbered in ascending or descending order.
This can be specified under the "Standard setting" button.

Also note that printing of sequence numbers in the document is "On". The number of unique numbers is then also displayed to prevent surprises during printing.

Tip for processing in special characters:

You can leave the ascending numbering to PrintCMR.
The input field of the sequence number can be muted yourself, so you also have a sequence number from, for example, Excel can paste in the sequence number box.

By e.g. to put the following lines in Excel:

PROJ001-01
PROJ001-02
PROJ001-02

you can create a large series of numbers by selecting these three cells, followed by the extraction of the right bottom corner downwards.

You can see that the sequence number is rising, while the project number is maintained.
By then selecting all sequence numbers and copying them to the clipboard, this series of numbers can be pasted into the follow-up section of the guidance letter in PrintCMR.

With this option you can build up all variants of sequence numbers very quickly.
Optimal recognition contributes to the control of the series of issued documents.
